Schooling
2018 Graduate of the Michigan License to Preach School of the Michigan Conference of the United Methodist Church. M.A. in Health Care Administration, Central Michigan Umniversity (1988). Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Northern Michigan University (1978), Bachelor of Science in Applied Science from Central Michigan University (1974).
Experience
Being pastor is a second career for me. This is my second appointment with the Michigan Conference. I am a Registered Nurse (MI) for the last 43 years with extensive experience with nursing administration, intensive care, and hospice care. Working with Jesus on the frontlines of life and death gives me a very real and personal mission to share the life and HOPE that Jesus provides for me.
Family
My wife, Connie and I have been married since 1993 and we have 2 children, Evan (37) and Katie (35). We are also blessed with 1 grandchild, Ravi (2). Connie is an Oncology Registered Nurse with over 40 years experience in cancer care. She works for Henry Ford Cancer Institute in Brownstown Township. We are also blessed with our dog, Yogi Bear, a Pembrook Welsh Corgi. She is our thearpy pet!
